  • Fresh breeze from the ocean
  • Soft white sand that gives an amazing feeling under the toes

Besides enjoying sugary white sand, you can also go swimming at the beach. The sand is exceptionally soft and you will not have to worry about shells poking your kids’ feet.

Grace Bay offers long stretches of beautiful and secluded areas for strolling during sunset.

  • The beach has relatively cooler sand

Kayaking is a favorite activity among guests at White Villas Beach Resort. The good news is that we provide kayaks for our guests, so there’s no need to rent them! While kayaking near the resort in the Long Bay Beach area is enjoyable, for an enhanced experience, head to Chalk Sound National Park in the south of Provo. Here, you’ll find a stunning lagoon with hundreds of small islands to explore.

  • Chalk Sound is a lagoon and there are hundreds of small islands for you to explore

  • Chalk Sound offers amazing vistas, ranging from the bare marine limestone to the pristine blue lagoon

It is recommended to go glass-bottom kayaking in the Coral Gardens reef at Bight Beach, where you can see eagle rays, sting rays, spiny lobsters, barracudas and more.

If getting out on the water is not on your list of Turks and Caicos beach resort activities, you can visit the Monika viewpoint in Chalk Sound National Park to take a hike around the stunning views of the lagoon.

There are almost endless snorkeling opportunities on the isles. The Grace Bay Beach is still among the best places for this activity.
  • There are snorkel trails at Bight Reef and Smith’s Reef off the shoreline
  • Snorkeling at Smith’s Reef has a relaxing and leisurely effect to it

If you want to snorkel with stingrays, it is recommended to go snorkeling in the shallow waters of Gibbs Cay. This place has a high density of stingrays and is often referred to as Stingray Cay. This tiny island is located close to Grand Turk.

Kiteboarding & Kitesurfing

The clear blue sky at Long Bay Beach is regularly dotted with vibrant hues from kiteboarders on the water. The soft sandy beach and the consistent winds make this part of Turks and Caicos Islands a big draw for kitesurfers.

Go on a Glowworm Cruise

Glowworm cruises are among the most sought-after Turks and Caicos beach resort activities. Watching these bioluminescent creatures in their full glory is a spectacle you will not forget for the rest of your life. Glowworms are small marine worms inhabiting the shallow bays, wetlands, and channels of Turks & Caicos Islands. These creatures put on a stunning display of their bioluminescence for a very short time in the evening during certain days of the month.

The event occurs around four days after a full moon when millions of glowworms sparkle with a green glow after sunset. The display is part of the creatures’ mating process.

  • The ideal location to go for glowworm cruises are the shallow banks and channel systems, including parts of Leeward Going Through Channel near the Caicos Banks

  • Mangrove Cay is also an excellent spot to witness the spectacle
  • You can also witness the show while clear-bottom kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding
Some other promising locations for seeing the glowworms include Heaving Down Rock, Old Grace Cove at Long Bay Beach, Taylor Bay, Sapodilla Bay, and the bay at West Harbour Bluff.
