What’s the right all-Inclusive resort for you in Turks and Caicos?

Contrary to many vacation destinations, the Turks and Caicos Islands have very few all-inclusive resorts. This article helps you choose the option that works for you.

If you’re looking for all-inclusive accommodations in the Turks and Caicos, you’ll notice that opportunities are limited. There are officially 4 all-inclusive resorts on the Island. Throughout this post, we’ll cover each of them, starting things off with the TCI Collection resorts, followed by Club Med, and ending with the Beaches Resort. We’ll also suggest another, unexpected, all-inclusive solution: The White Villas’s all-inclusive private villas. By the time you’ve finished reading, we hope you’ll have found what seems ideal for you.

TCI collection resorts (Blue Haven and Alexandra resorts)

As we write this post, TCI collection resorts offers 3 all-inclusive resorts, two of which are located in Providenciales: the Blue Haven resort and the Alexandra Resort. When booking one resort, you have unlimited access to the other one (shuttle provided). Their 3rd hotel is located on the private island of Little Ambergris Cay.Blue Haven Resort TCI
Blue Haven Resort TCI

1. Blue Haven Resort

The Blue Haven resort is the only all-inclusive resort located in the beautiful Leeward settlement. This area offers great privacy, yet the beach is small, so long sunset beach walks aren’t an option.

The hotel offers a choice of oceanfront studios, one, two, or three-bedroom oceanfront suites, plus penthouses.

Alexandra Resort2. Alexandra Resort

The Alexandria Resort is located on Grace Bay beach, within walking distance from the Grace Bay downtown area, where you can indulge in locally prepared iced treats, and shop souvenirs.

This resort offers a variety of studios, one, two, or three-bedroom suites, and oceanfront accommodations including luxury penthouses.

The all-inclusive packages at both these resorts include access to a good variety of all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink experiences. Guests can combine meals and activities at both resorts. In total, you have access to 8 dining options, from more formal to buffet style, including Salt pizzeria by the Blue Haven Marina, and the ASUS, a casual buffet-style restaurant with stunning views of Grace Bay beach. Additionally, guests have access to 7 bars, ranging from smoothie service to swim-up locations. Both resorts include activities, like water trampoline, snorkeling, kayaks, sailing, stand-up paddle, tennis, and cycling. As a bonus, kids under 12 stay and play for free, enjoying the kids club at Blue Haven Resort.

For additional relaxation, and for a fee, guests have access to a spa, and excitement-hungry travelers can rent motorized water sports equipment.

Most customers love the beautiful beachfront location, the cleanliness, and the overall look and feel of the resort. Getting 2 resorts for the price of one is also a good incentive to book with Blue Heaven or the Alexandra.

Club Med TCI3. Club Med

Located on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world – Grace Bay, Club Med is an adult only all-inclusive, one of the few remaining in the world since many were converted to family destinations. The resort has a selection of oceanfront and garden view superior rooms for two, plus deluxe rooms in double occupancy.

Just know that you’ll need a cab to go out for dinner, head to kite surfing or really to indulge in anything else on the island. To give you an idea, a taxi ride for one, from Club Med to Long Bay beach will run you anywhere between $40 to $60 one way.

Club Med TCI

Ocean front deluxe room is available for booking at https://www.clubmed.ca/turkoise

The package includes all-you-can-eat and drink, with one big buffet-style restaurant and a small shack-style option, called Sharkies, for snack foods by the beach. The food is varied and good, but with limited restaurant options, choices are restricted. The resort had 2 bars, however, alcohol labels aren’t high quality, and guests wanting to upgrade their liquor have to pull out their wallets.

Activities are plenty, with traditional Club Med installations and even a trapeze, with group classes included. You can scuba, sail and swim, but know that diving excursions are tougher, because of demand and a small boat capacity. Club Med now works with Caicos Dream tour to schedule boat excursions for their guests, for a fee. As with most resorts, a hotel spa offers a selection of treatments and massage therapy.

Because this resort is adults-only, there’s a nice vibe here. Couples and friends that like to party, socialize, and spend little time in their rooms, will be well served. Guests tend to love the classic Club Med entertainment and enjoy the food. The common consensus is that rooms could use an upgrade. During the busy season, pool and beach chairs are up for grabs, so be prepared to rise and plan early for a top spot.

If you’re not staying at Club Med, but fancy a night out at their Club, you can buy a night pass, a fun experience especially on Fridays for the Bal en Blanc.

Beaches Resort TCI

Beaches Resort TCI

4. Beaches Resort

This Sandals-affiliated resort is the most family-friendly all-inclusive resort on the island. It is by far the biggest resort as well, with a total 757 rooms spread among 5 villages (the Key West Village, the Italian village, the French village, Seaside Village and the authentic Caribbean village) and 21 restaurants to choose from. The room’s availability is extravagant, with choices between luxury rooms, family suites, villa suites, and the list goes on. Most options are one-bedroom, with either one or two beds, and most can sleep 4 people, but there are also options for two, three and four bedrooms, such as the Key West beachfront butler villas.

Note: More than 50% of the tourists arriving at the International airport go to Beaches Resort. Consequently, this resort fills the flights that make coming to Turks and Caicos so easy and practical for all.

Food is extremely varied, serving Caribbean flavors, Japanese, Italian cuisine, and more. From formal to casual, some with beach views, everyone finds their favorite spot.

Located on Grace Bay beach, you can enjoy long walks and kids love the aquatic park, as well as the ice cream ‘shop’, while parents can indulge in a little beach volleyball. The resort offers water sports activities such as kayaks, windsurfing, hydro bikes, snorkeling, and more.

If you love land sports, like basketball, and tennis for example, you’ll also be well served. The Kid’s club, teen nightclub, and evening entertainment give your crew plenty to do.

Price-wise, the Beaches is undoubtedly the most expensive, but during the fall, rates drop considerably, making the resort a bit more accessible for families with smaller budgets. The resort itself is nice. The variety of the food is a Beaches trademark, but for a big family, the cost adds up quickly, especially with rates set per person, and not per room. If you want to visit the island throughout your trip, Beaches won’t be ideal, as you will have to either rent a car or get a taxi. The resort isn’t walking distance from the downtown Grace Bay Area or Long Bay beach.

At the price, you’re paying, and with all the restaurants available onsite, leaving the resort just doesn’t make sense. However, if your plan is to enjoy all-inclusive life and not move an inch, Beaches is a great option. You won’t get bored, but you may be swarmed. It’s big, popular, and busy. Beaches resort guests confirm that it’s not unusual to wake up early (6 am) to reserve a beach or pool chair. Staff reserves chairs for groups that purchased the butler service. That being said, having the option to book a butler for your vacation is just one other great luxury that Beaches offers, for a fee.

White Villas

Curiously, you’d think a villa option wouldn’t qualify as an all-inclusive option, or that it would come with staff and services that would cost a small fortune, but White Villas is different. For many, a week of eating at buffets, scrambling for a good beach chair or being surrounded by strangers just doesn’t cut it. When we created the White Villas concept, we understood what people loved about all-inclusive (no hassles, carefree planning, budgeting in advance, simple, stress-free vacations), but we also knew how incredible private villas can be. Our unique alternative blends both: loads of pre-packaged services at great prices, plus your very own private villa, private pool, and access to a resort property chef that serves our villa guests, and makes you feel incredibly privileged, without going broke.

All-inclusive are great for peace of mind. There’s less planning, logistics, and overall stress involved when trying to figure it all out. When choosing an all-inclusive resort in the Turks and Caicos, you’ll have a few options. It’s all about deciding what you want, need, and expect from your vacation. We’re always here to help you find what’s best for you, and yours.

Looking for an eco-friendly all-inclusive resort? Look no further than White Villas! We offer a variety of sustainable and luxurious accommodations that will allow you to enjoy your vacation without harming the environment. From solar-powered villas to water-saving showers, we are committed to providing our guests with a green vacation experience.
