The Turks and Caicos announces new Covid entry requirements and visitors are pleased

Reduced restrictions make it easier than ever to visit the Turks and Caicos

BREAKING NEWS – Effective May 1st, 2022, the Turks and Caicos Islands Government will enforce NEW, milder entry requirements for visitors to the islands. Updated protocol was announced as follows:

  • All Visitors 18 and over must show proof of vaccination (to airline and TCI Immigration)
  • No TCI Assured Portal
  • No Insurance
  • No Covid Test

Recent reports by the Turks and Caicos Tourism Board show that we had one of the busiest summer seasons ever in 2021.

“Compared to pre-pandemic statistics in 2019, the destination saw an increase of over 18% in June with 54,188 visitors. An increase of 19% in July with 56,022 visitors, and an increase of 15% in August with 41,734 visitors. These numbers exceeded all projection modules and are well above average in a normal economic climate.”

The last 2 years were undeniably challenging for most destinations around the globe. We’re extremely pleased with how our government handled visitor and resident safety, allowing businesses like ours to continue to thrive, and families like yours to continue to travel, together.

Requests have leaped, and the overall 2022 season is looking greater than ever for our destination. We hope to host you and your family soon, and appreciate all the visitors we’ve had over the last few years. Come visit (again). It’s easier than ever, and you’ll be in great hands.
