Christmas Villa Rentals in Turks and Caicos With Private Pools on Long Bay Beach

The first Christmas we spent on Providenciales, we kept waiting for the season to feel like the ones we grew up with in the North. It never did, and that turned out to be the gift. The palm trees stayed green, the sea stayed warm, and on Christmas Eve we carried a plate of ham and rice and peas out to the pool while a neighbour’s speaker played carols in slow calypso time. That was the moment we understood what Christmas in Turks and Caicos could be.

Since 2016 we have been hosting families, couples, and groups through the holidays at White Villas, sixteen private villas in a gated community a three-minute walk from Long Bay Beach. Here is how our villas turn a Christmas week on Provo into the easiest holiday your family has ever had, and which one fits the people you are bringing.

Sixteen Villas, One Quiet Christmas

A holiday week asks a lot of a place to stay. It has to hold a big meal, a few late nights, kids on different schedules, and the long, lazy afternoons that make the trip worth it. We built our villas for exactly that kind of week.

Each villa opens onto its own terrace and pool through custom glass doors that slide fully open with no floor track, so the living room, terrace, and water become one space from breakfast to bedtime. Christmas morning starts with coffee outside, the pool a few steps away, and nobody else’s schedule to follow. The community is gated and secure, Long Bay Beach is a three-minute walk down the road, and Grace Bay is about five minutes away when you want the island’s bigger celebrations.

Choosing Your Christmas Villa

The right villa depends on who is coming. These are the ones we recommend most often for the holidays.

Villa Studio 3 for Two

For couples who want a romantic, unhurried Christmas, Villa Studio 3 is an open-concept loft with a king bed, a large terrace with sun and shade, and an outdoor shower. Its heated pool, with a swim-up bar and a shallow ledge, is shared by just two studios, so it stays quiet all week. The kitchen is fully equipped for a Christmas dinner for two, the Bose sound bar handles the carols, and a full-size washer and dryer means you can pack light. It is the villa for long mornings, late swims, and a Christmas Eve dinner on the terrace with nobody else around.

Villa 1 and Villa 8 for Families

For a family of up to six, Villa 1 and Villa 8 each have two bedrooms and three bathrooms. There is a king in the main bedroom, a second room with twins that convert to a king plus a single sofa bed, and a double sofa bed in the living room. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, which is exactly what you want on Christmas morning.

Both villas have a private pool with a shallow section where small children can play safely, a swim-up bar for the adults, and a lap corridor for early risers. Outside, a large terrace, a BBQ grill, and a garden setting are made for Christmas lunch in the open air. Bikes, kayaks, paddleboards, beach chairs, and umbrellas are all included, so the kids can go straight from opening presents to the beach.

Villa 10 for the Whole Family

For larger groups and multigenerational holidays, Villa 10 has four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms and sleeps up to ten: eight adults and two young children. Two of the bedrooms sit in a separate pool annex, each with twins that convert to a king and a sofa bed, so grandparents, teenagers, and early risers all get their own space and still meet at the same pool.

The kitchen has two refrigerators, a full oven, and a dishwasher, which you will be glad of when you are cooking for ten. The terrace has a propane grill, an outdoor shower, and plenty of sun and shade. Add a washer and dryer, smart TVs with Netflix for a Christmas movie night, and a pool with a swim-up bar and a kids’ section, and you have a villa where the whole family can spend the holiday under one roof without getting in each other’s way.

A Pool That Belongs to You

At Christmas, the pool is where the week happens. Kids spend the afternoon in the shallow end while the grown-ups hold the swim-up bar. Christmas Eve drinks happen at the edge of the water. Pool maintenance is included, so all you have to decide is when to get in.

On the evening of the 25th, when resort pools are full of other people’s parties, yours is quiet, lit, and entirely your own. For many of our guests, that is the whole reason they choose a villa over a hotel for the holidays.

Christmas Dinner, Your Way

For most families the holiday meal matters more than anything else, and it is where a villa has the clearest advantage over a hotel room. Our kitchens are fully equipped for a real feast, and every terrace has a grill for anyone who wants to cook outside. If your family’s Christmas means cooking together, stock up at Graceway Gourmet on cheese, wine, and a good ham, then cook the way you do at home.

If you would rather nobody works on Christmas Day, book Chef Salvador. He cooks in your villa kitchen and serves on your terrace, from a slow Christmas morning breakfast to a beach lunch to a long dinner under the stars. Many guests mix the two: they cook one night, have the chef the next, and go out on a third. Chef dates between 22 December and 2 January are the first to go, so reserve early through our concierge.

Christmas With Everything Handled

If you would rather hand over every detail, our all-inclusive villa formula lets you build a festive-week stay around the villa and add only what you want: a private chef, a car at the airport, boat days, spa treatments, and celebrations. There are no buffet lines and no set seatings, just your villa and the services you choose. And because you book with us directly, you pay no third-party service fees.

Beyond the Villa

When you do want to go out, Provo has a handful of holiday nights worth planning around. All of them are an easy drive from Long Bay.

The Weather

December is dry, warm, and breezy. Expect days in the low to mid 80s, nights around 70, and sea temperatures near 80. Hurricane season ends on 30 November, so pack for summer and bring one light layer for the evenings.

Christmas Eve Caroling

Carols fill the Graceway IGA on Leeward Highway from about 6:00 to 7:30 pm on 24 December. It is short and family-friendly, and it pairs well with a last grocery run before Christmas Day.

Maskanoo on Boxing Day

The island’s biggest party takes over Grace Bay Road between Regent Village and Salt Mills on 26 December, with drums, costumes, food stalls, and fireworks. It is free, and arriving by 5:30 pm gets you a good spot.

The Post-Christmas Beach Party

On 28 December, Grace Bay Beach hosts a local band, kayak races, and craft stalls. It is an easy afternoon out for the whole family.

New Year’s Eve on Grace Bay

The year ends with a beach bonfire at Rickie’s Flamingo Cafe and fireworks over the water. Taxis are in high demand that night, so plan your ride ahead.

The Thursday Fish Fry

Every Thursday from about 5:30 to 9:30 pm, the park in The Bight fills with local food, live music, and dancing. It is the most local night you can have on the island, so bring cash and come hungry.

Lunch at Da Conch Shack

Da Conch Shack, a beachfront shack in Blue Hills, is known for its cracked conch and rum punch, with your toes practically in the sand. Over the holidays, reserve at least a week ahead.

Most of our guests settle into the same rhythm: slow mornings on Long Bay, the pool in the afternoon, and Grace Bay in the evening when there is something worth going out for. Then home to a villa where the noise ends at your door.

Come Spend Christmas With Us

The Christmas we love hosting starts with coffee on your terrace above the pool and a slow walk on an empty Long Bay. It includes a chef-cooked dinner under the stars, one loud night at Maskanoo, and one bonfire on Grace Bay, and it ends with everyone falling asleep to the trade wind. If that sounds like your holiday, we would love to have you.

Check Christmas availability across our villas, browse our current specials, or talk to our reservations team about your dates. We will help you plan the whole week before you land.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Christmas a good time to visit Turks and Caicos?

Yes, for the right traveller. The weather is close to perfect, hurricane season is over, and Maskanoo, the Post-Christmas Beach Party, and the New Year’s Eve bonfire give the week a real festive shape. The trade-off is that it is the most in-demand week of the year, so the best villas and chef dates book out months ahead.

Why choose a private villa over a resort for Christmas?

A villa gives your family a private pool, a full kitchen for the holiday meal, and room to spread out, none of which a hotel room can offer. At White Villas you also get resort amenities such as a gym, pickleball, a putting green, a playground, and concierge service, a three-minute walk from Long Bay Beach and about five minutes from Grace Bay.

Which villa is best for a family Christmas?

For a family of up to six, Villa 1 and Villa 8 each have two bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a pool with a shallow kids’ section. For larger or multigenerational groups of up to ten, Villa 10 has four bedrooms, including a two-bedroom pool annex.

Can we have Christmas dinner cooked in our villa?

Yes. Chef Salvador cooks in your villa kitchen and serves on your terrace, whether that is Christmas breakfast, lunch, or a full dinner. Book early, because holiday dates fill first.

Is there a minimum stay over Christmas?

Most properties on Provo set minimum stays of five to seven nights between about 22 December and 2 January. Contact our reservations team to confirm the rules and rates for your dates.

Do we need a car at Christmas?

We recommend one. There is no public bus on Provo, and taxis are in high demand on Maskanoo night and New Year’s Eve. We can arrange an SUV or minivan to be waiting at the airport when you land.
